This page explains how the site earns money and how affiliate links work on it.
How we earn money
EarlyRetireAbroad earns commissions when you sign up for a service or buy something through some of the links on the site. That income pays for researching and keeping the guides free to read.
What an affiliate link is
If you follow an affiliate link and then sign up or buy, the company pays us a commission. You pay the same price as you would by going to the company directly. Affiliate links on the site are marked as sponsored.
Our partners
We may earn commissions from companies including:
- money transfer services, such as Wise;
- travel and international health insurance providers, such as SafetyWing;
- tax preparation services for people living abroad, such as Greenback;
- travel brands through the Travelpayouts network, such as Kiwi.com (flights) and Airalo (eSIMs).
Independence
Affiliate relationships do not decide which countries, visas or services a page covers, or what it says about them. Facts on country pages come from the primary sources listed on each page; see the editorial policy. We do not recommend a product because it pays a higher commission.
FTC compliance
This disclosure follows the US Federal Trade Commission's guides on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255).
